Scott Allen Albertini, 53, of McDonald, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
He was born November 6, 1963 in Canonsburg, the son of the late Carl J. and Lois M. (Oates) Albertini.
Mr. Albertini was a 1982 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.
He worked as a senior supervisor for Specialized Professional Services Inc. of Washington for the last 10 years. He worked for more than 20 years in the hazardous chemical industry.
Mr. Albertini was the Chief of McDonald Volunteer Fire Department. He joined the department in 1982 and worked his way up through the various line officer positions. He was an evaluator for the Washington County Firemen’s Association and a member of the Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association.
He enjoyed spending time at the McDonald firemen’s camp, hunting and fishing. He also liked traveling and reading. He was the E.M.T. for the Fort Cherry Youth Football program.
On April 7, 1984, he married Carol L. Robson, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Ashley R. (John) Zilich of McDonald and Nikki S. (Robert) Wasik of Canonsburg; and three grandchildren, Locke and Luke Zilich, and Brooke Wasik.
Friends will be received from 2- 4 and from 6-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Family and friends will meet at McDonald Presbyterian Church, 119 Station St., McDonald for services which will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. Firemen’s services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial donations be made to McDonald Volunteer Fire Department, 150 N.
