Lee Robert Clayton, Sr., 72, of McDonald died Friday, May 18, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital of Pittsburgh.
He was born August 11, 1945 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Donald Walter and Harriet Ann (Simmons) Clayton, Sr.
Mr. Clayton was a graduate of McDonald High School and was the owner operator of Clayton’s R.V. Park in Mount Pleasant Township.
He was a member of the Western PA Corvette Club and enjoyed showing his car at many different car shows. He was a former N.F.L. sports agent and a member of the N.R.A. He raced horses at Waterford Park and also showed his Rottweiler “Lee’s Shadow” in several A.K.C. events.
In 1992, he married Lenore Dianne Williams, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Denise D. (Mark) Sember of McDonald; a son, Lee Robert (Freda) Clayton, Jr. of Burgettstown; four step children, Kimberley (Mike) Andreas of Rogers, OH, Michael Pugh of Leetonia, OH, Melissa (Dave) Adams of Medford, NJ and Stephen (Dana) Pugh of Lisbon, OH; two brothers, Donald Walter Clayton, Jr. of Pittsburgh and Alan Bradley Clayton of Sharpsburg, GA; three grandchildren, Michael Malachosky, Mia Sember and Riley Sember; seven step grandchildren, Melinda Acord, Chelsea (Shane) Toot, Zachary Pugh, Chloe Pugh, Miky Andreas, Alysha Andreas and Owen David Adams; and a step great grandchild, Tobias Toot.
Friends will be received for a time of gathering from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. A Memorial Service will be held at 8 p.m. following the time of gathering. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Washington County Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
