Betty C. “Momma”  Deveaney

Betty C. “Momma” Deveaney, age 90, of McDonald, passed on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

She was born May 17, 1931 in Midway; a daughter of Glenn C. and Anna Yoursh Christie Donaldson.

On November 18, 1952, she married, William John Deveaney, who passed April 16, 2010.

“Momma” enjoyed reading, sewing, drawing, painting, watching TV, drinking Tito’s with the girls and telling stories.

Surviving are three sons, William (Wendy) Deveaney of Hampstead, MD, Richard (Teresa) Deveaney of McDonald, and Kenneth (Dian)Deveaney of Baltimore, MD; a daughter Kathleen (T.J.) Brown of Zion, IL; a sister Shirley (Bill) Kinney of Ambler, PA; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a son, David Deveaney and a grandson, Timothy Brown II.

Family will receive friends, casual dress is recommended, on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will take place Friday, February 11, 2022 at 9:15AM. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Memorial contributions are suggested to Project Bundle up, 700 N Bell Ave, Carnegie, PA 15106.
