Carmela Scarfo Fehl

Carmela Scarfo Fehl, age 89 of Midway, passed peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2022.

She was born January 5, 1933 in Weirton; a daughter of Nicola and Margharita Principato Scarfo.

On August 22, 1953 she married Carl R. “Wee Wee” Fehl, who passed February 10, 2003.

What meant the most to Mrs. Fehl was spending time with her family.

Surviving are three children, Danny (Sherri) Fehl of McDonald, Thomas “Mouse” Fehl of Midway, and Sally (Lee) Cowden of McDonald; seven grandchildren, Diane Fehl, Casey (Brandon) Horvath, Erica (Wesley) Polk, Katie (Mic Michellucci) Fehl, William Cowden, Stacey (Craig Stapleton) Allen, and James (Stephanie) Strain; thirteen great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, Raymond Fehl; four brothers, Joseph, Nick Jr., Frank and Roy Scarfo; two sisters, Jeanette Mull and Mary Coen.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave McDonald, PA. 15057. A Blessing Services will take place on Friday, October 21, 2022. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Weirton. Memorial contributions are suggested to the McDonald Meals on Wheels 202 W. Lincoln Ave, McDonald, PA. 15057.
