Edith M. Clark

We are saddened by the loss of our beloved Mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Edith M. Clark who passed on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 2:44AM at the age of 97.

She was born on February 6, 1926 in McDonald; a daughter of the late William and Bella Kress Cook. Her childhood was spent on a farm, so she was used to hard work and keeping active. Upon graduating from Hickory High School, class of 1944, her first job was at Universal Cyclops where she met her future husband, James Rudolph Clark. They were married on January 9, 1954. He passed on July 24, 1988.

Mrs. Clark loved life and enjoyed taking care of her family and home. She always looked forward to the nice weather so she could work for hours in her yard. She took pleasure in reading her daily horoscope, taking long walks, traveling, and refinishing furniture. She thought everything looked better with a fresh coat of paint.

She leaves behind three daughters, Sandy (Russ) Mikco, Sharon and Susan Clark; two grandsons James and John (April Creary) Mikco and five great- grandchildren, Alaina, Nathan, Stanley, Maddox, and Colton.

Deceased are her only sister Esther Gross and five brothers, William, Homer, Wayne, Thomas, and Edwin Cook.

We will always cherish the precious memories with her and will never forget her.

Interment will take place at Forest lawn and Gardens. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057.
