Gertrude J. Rich Slagle, age 93 of Mars, PA, passed on Friday, February 17, 2023.

She was born June 1, 1929 in Oakdale; a daughter of Stanley F. and Stella Shultz Rich.

Gertrude was a Nurse’s Aide for over 30 years. She worked at Woodville St Hospital and then St. Clair Hospital.

Mrs. Slagle enjoyed Bingo and dancing.

Deceased is her husband Clifford E. Slagle, who passed, May 2, 2008.

Surviving is a daughter Rene C. Dunay of Mesa, AZ; a step-daughter Mariann Wilding of Brookline; a step- son in-law Tom Wilding and two grandchildren Courtney (Fabio Hoskins) Wilding and Selina (Josh) Dvorsky.

Deceased are two brothers, Edward and Albert Rich and two sisters, Nancy Stokes and Frances Randour.

Private Burial will take place at Robinson Run Cemetery, 504 Sunset Lane, McDonald, PA. 15057.
